Rocio Santos - Legal Assistant
Rocio Santos grew up in Mexico City, lived in Minnesota for two years, and has lived in Chicago since 2004. Living in the U.S. has given her a notion of diversity and its problems at the same time. Having seen the development of Latino communities in various parts of the U.S., she understands the needs and rights of an immigrant community in a foreign country. Currently, she is working towards her Associate’s Degree at Harold Washington College and planning to move on to Columbia College to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Sound Engineering. Rocio’s position as office assistant at Katz Law Office, Ltd. has allowed her to learn new ways to help the immigrant community. She worked for CLUES, a Latino-based organization in Minneapolis, MN and at Radio Arte, a community radio station operated by the Latino youth. The Katz Law Office, Ltd. serves clients throughout Illinois, including Chicago, La Villita, Lawndale, Brighton Park, Midway, Cicero, Pilsen, Garfield Park, Berwyn, Cook County, Lake County, Kendall County, Kane County, Du Page County, Will County, Avondale and Logan Square. |
