Dana Fortunato - Law Clerk
Before law school, Dana attended DePauw University in Indiana, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Religious Studies and Spanish. At DePauw, Dana received "Honors with Distinction" for her thesis about the religious history of Mexico and its impact on Liberation Theology in Latin America. During her undergraduate career, she worked in a mentoring program for honor students, volunteered with local grassroots politics, and studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain. Dana states, "Working at Katz Law Office, Ltd. is exciting because I have the chance to see zealous client advocacy firsthand, and learn what they don't teach us in law school." Dana Fortunato was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She is a third-year law student in the top 25% of her class at the John Marshall Law School, where she is involved in the Justinian Society and serves as the Secretary of the Latino Law Student Association.
